As an in-house staff graphic designer for Marvel Comics, I was responsible for creating original covers for graphic novels and designing articles for the Marvel Magazines. While I was there I also had the opportunity to art direct the Marvel Masterworks series. I worked with Marvel senior management to design the logo, packaging guidelines and line look of the Marvel Masterworks series, still in publication today. It was a particularly successful design that incorporated high end design processes like foil, spot gloss and silver ink.
